We are part of a CSA, which stands for "Community Shared Agriculture". It's where you invest some money into a local farm in the beginning of the year, and a farmer uses your investment to plant crops (or feed chickens) and then when the vegetables are ripe and the eggs start coming, you get to eat them. We go pick up a box of yummy things once a week.
