Wow- I have never actually seen a wild turkey. It seems like Wisconsin is a really nice place to live.
We have a big flock of them here (Cloverdale, CA), living in the hills behind our house.
A couple of years ago, during mating season, they put up warning signs in the Arboretum. I thought that was really funny. Beware the wild, sex crazed turkeys!
