Carl Fredricks came by and took pictures of our sheep a few days ago.

  1. Thought of having them here at one time, but predation is pretty risky in these here parts.

    1. These are Jacob sheep, and they take pretty good care of themselves. We have a pack of coyotes who live on our land, and they have eaten our turkeys, ducks, and Goose, but so far never any any lambs. Probably they were just so well fed from the birds, they weren't hungry.

  2. I worry more about the wolves and bears. The mule keeps the coyotes at a distance.

    1. Wolves and bears, oh my! We have so few of those here, that it makes the news when one is spotted.
