See Rock City. If my barn was wood I would paint that on it.
It's a real thing. There are barns with that painted on them. Also, it's in the book, "Chapel of Ease," by Alex Bledsoe-- which hasn't come out yet.
Just south of Minneapolis Kansas, I almost stopped in when I was traveling through in 2013.
I remember hearing it was a "let us paint your barn and advertise Rock City" way to promote Rock City, wherever that is.
It's this side of Rock Candy Mountain,I'll bet!
Is that part of the Candy Kingdom?
Big RockCandy Mountains are part of a hobo's vision of paradise, along with cigarette trees and lemonade springs and th cops all have wooden legs. :) Rock city made me think of the song...
