I love this. I could never sing a song like this, because I would worry that Grandma Ruth would hear it.

That's Duncle Ennis on drums.

  1. Sorry, but I think the song kinda sucks. (no pun intended) What do you think she was trying to convey? I prefer a more subtle approach like Richard Thompson's "Persuasion."

  2. Personally, I find it a bit repetitive. Rather than saying "Let's do it" a hundredth time, why don't you just do it?

  3. No need for apologies. I am really tough on songwriters...a total snob.

  4. You're just a good critic because you're such a good songwriter, yourself. You expect others to come up to your standard.

    Unless they're related.

  5. I can tell the songwriting gene has been passed on. "Rubberized Playground" is a true classic. I hope we can jam when I visit.

  6. When are you visiting? I have a little bed for you. It even has a portrait of Frida Kaola above your head. And a UFO picture that I took.

  7. Oh, and you needn't bring your own instrument- unless you want to play cello. Keep in mind that, when we jam at our house, Little Z is the band leader, and she randomly demands that we all trade instruments. It requires some flexibility, but it's lots of fun.
