So far, it's looking creepy. Maybe getting a body will help. Alternately, I could always make a zombie doll. I know at least one person who might like something like that.
If you are talking about me, and I think you are, YES!!! I would love a Zombie Doll!!! As you are well aware, I don't have nearly enough Zombie stuff around my house!! Actually, the doll looks a little like Coraline, which is equally cool. Good work!!
No pattern, as always. I'm not good at patterns. I always make things up.
I am so glad someone thinks Zombie dolls are cool!
I was actually going to give it button eyes, which would have been much easier than what I did, but then I read Coraline, and - well, read Coraline, and you'll know why I couldn't give a doll button eyes!
I have an angel doll that you made and gave to Grandma-I liked it so much she said I could hold on to it for her. She currently resides in my china closet. (the angel-not grandma)
I'm so glad you like it! There's a funny story about that angel doll. I originally made it at Jean and my dad's house, and when I was done, I was quite proud of it and I showed it to Jean. "Look at this!" I said.
"Oh, thank you, Kiddo, I love it!" said Jean. She mistakenly thought I had made it for her. What could I do? I gave it to her, and made another one for Grandma Ruth. And I never thought that you would want one! I guess I just wasn't good at knowing who would like what! But, I'm glad she found a good home!
I don't know if you remember, Lou, but you actually taught me to sew. When Allie was a baby, and I must have been five or six, you had me sewing doll clothes at your apartment.
Zombie dolls are good! Are you using a pattern or did you make it up?

*Googles "Coraline button eyes"*
ReplyDeleteWaaah!
Ah, no pattern. You're one of those sewing people. I can't do that, unless it's a cloth napkin. I envy your sewing prowess.
