Gift from the Grey Economy Cult

Our "neighbor" from a mile up the road stopped by and gave me this. It is maple syrup! Pure maple syrup! She made it herself from the Maple trees! Local food is awesome.

  1. Oh my gosh, I wish I had a neighbor with maple trees and an inclination to give me things.

  2. Nommy. That jar would be worth $15-$20 dollars over here. Lucky CD!

  3. It could be worth that here, too, depending on the quality. I'm saving it until we run out of the others. Actually, I bought some from the same place that sold the flour, and it was very pricey. I'm going to do a taste test! In a few weeks, when we're out of cheap syrup (if we open all the good stuff now, we'll never eat the cheap syrup).
