Years ago I found a dog in a phonebooth. We named her Fred and the first week we had her she somehow broke her leg and had to wear a cast. It's amazing how adaptable animals can be. She was running around like she had 4 good legs within a few days.
I liked Blizzard, the white parakeet on his back in a plastic bowl.
