Why did the turkey cross the road?
A few years ago, I lost a turkey from the farm. I assumed it had been eaten by a coyote.
And then, one day...
I saw her crossing the road here. I wished her well in her new life of freedom, and I never saw her again.
It's Birdstock! Peace, love, and f#ck the pilgrims, man!
ReplyDeleteBirdstock. :-) Very nice.
ReplyDeleteWe have a flock or two of them in Northeast Minneapolis. Prehistoric-lookin' things that are not afraid of a little traffic!
Pearl
We've got 'em roaming the golf courses here in central coast California. occasionally have to fend 'em off with my 7-iron. :)
ReplyDeleteThey really have made a come back in recent years, haven't they?
ReplyDeleteI was attacked in Mexico by a turkey guarding a pharmacy. I hid behind my friend, who kept laughing at me, telling me that the turkey was trying to show off his pretty feathers. They sounded like paint stirrer sticks clattering together. I think I will never trust turkeys. You stayed in the car to take the pictures, right?
