Turkey Crossing

This happens all the time.
Why did the turkey cross the road?

A few years ago, I lost a turkey from the farm. I assumed it had been eaten by a coyote.

And then, one day...

I saw her crossing the road here. I wished her well in her new life of freedom, and I never saw her again.

  2. Birdstock. :-) Very nice.

We have a flock or two of them in Northeast Minneapolis. Prehistoric-lookin' things that are not afraid of a little traffic!

  5. I was attacked in Mexico by a turkey guarding a pharmacy. I hid behind my friend, who kept laughing at me, telling me that the turkey was trying to show off his pretty feathers. They sounded like paint stirrer sticks clattering together. I think I will never trust turkeys. You stayed in the car to take the pictures, right?
